Biting the Hand, the Movie!

After quite a few false starts because of Covid-19, the Hobo's powerful drama Biting the Hand by Anne Southall has been filmed.

Biting the Hand is a provactive exploration of the profound impact traumatic experiences in early childhood have on a young man living in regional Victoria.

This award-winning play had a strong impact on audiences at La Trobe University's Hard Yards Conferences in Bendigo in 2018 and 2019.

The cast for the film version of Biting the Hand, directed by Rob Jorritsma, is: Sebastian Marshall, Peter Bevin, Rebecca Morton, Elly Krieg, Helen Gramberg and Sarah Cody.

The film will be used for educational purposes by La Trobe University, Bendigo.

It is hoped to tour the play to Melbourne in the latter half of 2022.
