Huge thanks to talented writer, director and performer, Mark Penzak for sharing his talent and knowledge about Physical Theatre and Stage Craft with participants at the Hobo's April workshop in Maldon.
Mark had participants captivated throughout the workshop. Participants explored replacing a line of dialogue with a movement or an action, and using their bodies to express expectations in improvised scenes.
It was fascinating to watch participants manipulating a prop as a metaphor that revealed their internal mental/emotional states. And Mark shared valuable stage craft tips including how to position yourself on stage during a scene.
This was a brilliant workshop that had participants wanting more! Hopefully we can entice Mark back for another workshop in the very near future!
